Contoh:
8 - 2 : eight minus two : delapan kurang dua
35 - 15 : thirty five minus fifteen : tiga puluh lima

(x) : times, multiply
Contoh:
7 x 4 = Seven times four.
62 * 21 = Sixty two times twenty one.
(÷) atau (/) - divided by
Contoh:
10 ÷ 2 = Ten divided by two.
50 / 10 = Fifty divided by ten.
(=) - equals
Contoh:
10+ 4 – 6 = 8 = Ten plus four minus six equals
eight.
6 x 3 ÷ 5= 3 = Five times three divided by five
equals five.
(<) - is less than
Contoh:
8< 15 = Eight is less than fifteen.
(>) - is greater than
Contoh:
15 > 8 = Fifteen is greater than eight.
(≤) - is less than or equal to
Contoh :
4 + 1 ≤ 6 = Four plus one is less than or equal to
six.
(≥) - is greater/more than or equal to
Contoh:
5 + 7 ≥ 10 = five plus seven is greater than or
equal to ten.
(≠) - is not equal to
Contoh:
13 ≠ 17 = thirteen is not equal to seventeen..
